The Middle TN Collective is hosted through CareEquip by OrphanWise. Since its inception in 2019, CareEquip has partnered with the local community to care for children through trauma-informed training, coaching, and support groups. By providing these services, we pursue hope and healing for each child, family, and organization.

Through workshops, coaching sessions, and resource development, CareEquips trains and supports the adults who love and work with at-risk or traumatized children. The evidence-based approach provides caregivers a foundational understanding of trauma. Through training, caregivers learn to recognize the “why” behind negative behavioral tendencies before they become severe, as well as how to correct and heal behaviors upstream.

2024-2025 Shelby County Collective Meeting Dates

It was so good to be in a room of like minded people who share the same passions discussing ways that we can come together to spread TBRI, as well as being reminded of little snippets from the training that may get pushed to the backs of our minds overtime. I love seeing people from all areas of a child’s life coming together to learn how to create healing environments in lots of places a child may be, so that they can thrive!
