The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development (KPICD) strives to help children suffering from the effects of early trauma, abuse and/or neglect. They conduct research to deepen understanding about the complex needs of these children and how to help them overcome social, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Through various outreach initiatives, KPICD train professionals in Trust-Based Relational Intervention®, a research-based, holistic model developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross.

Show Hope works to restore hope by breaking down barriers that exist between waiting children and loving families. Show Hope has a long history of supporting the work of Empowered to Connect(ETC) in supporting and resourcing families and vulnerable children. Through a continued partnership with ETC/Safe & Secure TN and KPICD, Show Hope is committed to seeing Tennessean’s have access to TBRI® training and consulting.
